Breakfast Tips

  • Helps to curb the urge to snack
  • Prevents irritability and fatigue
  • Helps to stabalize blood sugar levels.
Hawaiian Barley Flakes

Combine in a casserole

  • 1 1/2 cups barley flakes
  • 2/3 cup chopped dates
  • 1 14-ounce can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups pineapple juice

Bake uncovered at 350 F for about 50 minutes

Scrambled Tofu

Excellent replacement for scrambled eggs.

  • Combine in a nonstick pan
  • 1 cube firm, fresh, water-packed tofu, crumbled 2-3 tablespoons Mock Chicken Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon tumeric (optional, for yellow coloring)

Fry for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve Warm.
