Hawaiian Barley Flakes
Combine in a casserole
- 1 1/2 cups barley flakes
- 2/3 cup chopped dates
- 1 14-ounce can crushed pineapple
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups pineapple juice
Bake uncovered at 350 F for about 50 minutes
Scrambled Tofu
Excellent replacement for scrambled eggs.
- Combine in a nonstick pan
- 1 cube firm, fresh, water-packed tofu, crumbled 2-3 tablespoons Mock Chicken Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon tumeric (optional, for yellow coloring)
Fry for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve Warm.
